The invention of papermaking is a significant contribution of China to humanity, and paper is an indispensable and important commodity for people's work, study, and life. Traditional papermaking has caused global forest resource scarcity due to excessive logging of trees. The papermaking production process has caused unresolved environmental pollution and negative impacts on the ecological environment, which has attracted high attention from all humanity.


Using inorganic powder (mainly calcium carbonate) as the main raw material, a small amount of synthetic resin and chemical additives are added, and advanced process technology is adopted to produce a new type of environmentally friendly synthetic paper. This is a new variety of paper that can be used in fields such as printing, packaging, cardboard, and various labels, with excellent paper properties and environmental performance.


Synthetic paper is called "unbreakable" paper. At present, it is popularly called "stone paper" or "stone plastic paper". The name of "synthetic paper" is relatively scientific. Synthetic paper has a development history of more than 30 years in Europe, America and Japan. Its trial production began more than 10 years ago in China. At that time, due to the production of ordinary paper and synthetic paper, the market price was inverted, and other reasons, it could not be widely promoted in the domestic market.

(1) Save resources
The main raw materials used in synthetic paper are inorganic powders such as calcium carbonate and synthetic resins, which do not require wood or natural plant fibers. In production, only trace amounts of circulating water are required in the equipment, saving a large amount of trees and water resources.


(2) Outstanding environmental friendliness
In the production of synthetic paper, there is no need for water, wood pulp, or steam. It does not produce toxic or harmful gases, and does not discharge wastewater, waste residue, or exhaust gas. The leftover materials in production can be automatically recycled and reused after processing, and the production process does not cause pollution or harm to the environment.
After the application of synthetic paper, it can be 100% recycled and reused. The production raw material formula can also be adjusted according to different uses, and the synthetic paper produced can be naturally degraded in the natural environment after being discarded.


(3) Excellent application performance
Synthetic paper is a new type of product that uses plastic instead of paper and plastic instead of wood. It has dual functions of plastic and paper. It has durability, high tear strength, good puncture resistance, and good folding resistance, especially in high-end printed products. It can present advantages such as bright color, plump and bright appearance, and good adhesive compatibility.


(4) Good hygiene
The raw and auxiliary materials of synthetic paper are non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free. The product can come into direct contact with daily chemical, food, pharmaceutical, light industrial and other products, without any toxic or side effects.


(5) Good chemical stability
Synthetic paper can be used for the packaging of most chemicals. It has good chemical stability, good moisture resistance, anti moth, non mildew, and anti-corrosion.


(6) Good processability
It can be used for processing methods such as cutting, die-cutting, printing, stamping, punching, folding, gluing, coating, laminating, and film coating.
